Hey everybody,
I can't thank you enough for your support of Unity this year. It was truly amazing that in a time of economic crunch for everyone, you all surpassed yourselves and came up with a tremendous amount of money for those in need.
I honestly can say that of my 22 years with Unity, that was my proudest moment.

Be a part of our annual holiday gift to Kenny!
 Since December 2000, Fans and Friends of Kenny Loggins have united to honor him during the holiday season by making a donation to The Unity Shoppe's annual UNITY TELETHON. Since that time, our collaborative efforts have raised over $40,000 to help the families at Kenny's favorite charity located in Santa Barbara, CA.
Last year we reached all all-time high check presentation of $5,700! Kenny was so touched by your generosity, that he spontaneously matched our donation at the telethon!
This year, due to the current economic status and the recent fires in the Santa Barbara area, these families need our help more than ever! Although we are each facing our own challenges, many families in Kenny's backyard lost everything. You can make a difference in someone's life, while at the same time show Kenny how much his most loyal fans truly care by participating in our annual contributions! Our collective efforts in helping this amazing organization are not only our holiday gift to Kenny, but our way of expressing what the true sense of community and caring is all about.

 THE TELETHON
This year's Unity Shoppe Telethon will take place December 13. Our check presentation is currently scheduled for 7:50pm PT and Kenny is scheduled to perform at 9 and 9:30pm. To view the webcast please visit www.newspress.com

LIVE AUCTION!! ! 
Our live auction has now ended for 2008 -- from which we were able to raise $1,079 on our exclusive autographed items -- from T-shirts to CDs, DVDs and more. 100% of the proceeds from this effort (not including shipping and processing fees on auction items) will go directly to The Unity Shoppe, and we'll be making an on-air presentation at the Telethon on December 13th.

everyone who makes a monetary donation before 12:00 pm PT on Friday, December 12, will be automatically entered into a random drawing to win an autographed copy of a radio single cut version "Rainbow Connection" CD. Two winners will be notified on Monday, December 15.
TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS
In addition to the auctions, we invite you to make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION. Please email janet at logginsfans4unity.com to receive instructions on where to mail your check or money order.
You can also make a credit card donation ONLINE at this link or by calling Unity at 800-252-8542 or 805-965-4122 (be sure to mention that it's in Kenny's honor).
Whether you pay by check or credit card, be sure to include the notation "IN HONOR OF KENNY LOGGINS" in the "Short Comment or Note" portion of the donation form or on your check.
Once you have done this, please e-mail janet at logginsfans4unity.com with the amount you donated -- this is very important as we want to be sure that your donation is included in our grand total for the check to be presented to Kenny at the Telethon.

 The Unity Shoppe, it is an organization funded completely by private, non-government aid, to help families going through financial difficulties. Unity provides these families with a monthly allotment of supplemental food and clothing year round, along with toys for the children during the holiday season.
